# Collect app bookings with Google Calendar

> Let visitors to your Zite app to book appointments directly through Google Calendar.

## How it works

Let users schedule calls on your Google Calendar by linking it to your Zite app either as a button or an embed. This is useful for meetings, appointments, and other events.

## How to insert your booking page

    In the chat box, ask Zite to connect to Google Calendar or click the `plug icon` <Icon icon="plug" />.

    Then, sign in to your Google Account.

    Describe how you'd like to use Google Calendar in your app. In this example, we'll let users book a call after seeing their generated quote.

  <Step title="Insert booking link">
    Paste the booking link of your Google Calendar in the chat.

  <Step title="Deploy and share">
    That's it! Users can now schedule a call with you through the app. Invite confirmations will be sent to the recipient's email along with a meeting link (based on your Google Calendar preferences) and a link to cancel.

    Click `Publish` in the upper right corner to [**share**](/help/platform/access/share-to-web) or [**embed**](/help/platform/basics/embedding) your app.

## Use a custom booking page

If you don’t want to use the standard Google Calendar design, you can create a [branded Fillout scheduling form](https://www.fillout.com/help/fillout-scheduling-intro) instead. Then [link the form to your Zite app](/help/integrations/fillout) so others can book appointments with your custom design.

## Common use cases

With a Google Calendar connection, you create apps like:

* **Bookings or Appointments:** Allow others to book appointments like patients and etc.
