# Duplicate apps
> Duplicate Zite apps to use a starting point.
## Overview
Duplicating apps is helpful if you'd like to use it as a template for a different app, want to use it for a different client but tweak it, or build a version 2 while retaining the first version of your app.
## Duplicate Zite app
From your dashboard, hover over the app you'd like to duplicate, then click followed by `Duplicate`.
That's it! An exact copy will be added to the workspace you're currently in. To move this, simply drag and drop the new copy into your preferred workspace.
