Zite acquires Endeva
Zite has acquired Endeva, an AI app builder for non-technical teams. The founders, Laura Wendel and Alrik Wendel, are joining our team. They're bringing what they learned building Endeva to help make Zite the best platform for creating custom business software without code.

How we got here
For years, Fillout customers had been asking us for "more than forms". We'd long resisted building a full app builder because balancing ease of building and flexibility felt impossible with pure no-code.
Then in early 2025, LLMs started to get very good at writing functional code. You could describe what you needed and reliably get a working UI and logic - and that's how Zite started.
Endeva was founded around the same time. They built an AI-first workspace where anyone could create custom apps on demand. Not prototypes, but apps with real platform capabilities. Their launch led to hundreds of conversations about where AI tools break down for real operations.
Through that feedback, they arrived at the same conclusions we had: apps need to connect to the tools businesses already use, and users need to see what the app is doing - not just trust the code. That means visible workflows and interfaces you can edit directly.
Two teams arriving at the same conclusions independently is rare. We'd spent years building the foundation with Fillout - databases, authentication, integrations, infrastructure tested at scale. Combining that with Endeva's strong team and momentum made sense for both teams.
We were impressed by how much they'd built together. Two people, no outside funding, shipping faster than teams ten times their size.

In 2025, we built Zite's foundation - apps, database, authentication, integrations.
In 2026, we're making Zite even more powerful, more delightful to use, and scaling infrastructure for teams running real business operations.
