Zite acquires Raydian
Zite has signed an agreement to acquire Raydian’s IP. Founders Ryley and Greg are joining our team to help make Zite the best place to create and deploy custom business software.

How we got here
We first came across Raydian in November 2025.
Even just 6 months ago, agentic software building tools for non-engineers were far more limited than they are today.
Raydian was early to several ideas that are now fundamental, like planning mode with tasks, design mode, visual editing, and built-in authentication and databases.
We were even more impressed when we learned that Raydian had built all of this with a team of three.
As we got to know Ryley and the team, it became clear that we had a lot in common.
Zite started from the needs of Fillout customers who wanted to go beyond forms and build more powerful software. Raydian had a similar starting point. Before Raydian, the team spent several years building Devize, a profitable no-code app builder, before shifting to an AI-first approach as coding LLMs became more capable.
6 months from now, the tools we use to build custom software will look very different again. We are moving quickly to help organizations actually get value from AI, and the Raydian team will help accelerate that goal.
Welcoming Ryley and Greg
Ryley is joining Zite in a cross-functional role spanning engineering and go-to-market.
He is a rare combination of builder and operator. Ryley was both the CEO of Raydian and the engineer who built most of the product. We are excited to have him taking on important opportunities across Zite.
Greg is joining as Zite’s first Head of Education.
Over the years, Greg has taught more than 100,000 students how to build with no-code and AI. He’s spent years helping people learn to solve problems with custom software, and we are excited for him to bring that experience to Zite.
Building for mission-critical use cases
There are now dozens of places to build quick prototypes with AI.
Building production systems is a different story, and Zite exists to help existing organizations move faster and more efficiently with custom software.
We think this category is still early, and the opportunity for impact ahead of the industry is massive.
What happens next
While the Raydian product is shutting down, many of the ideas and lessons behind it will make their way into Zite.
Ryley and Greg are joining the Zite team to help accelerate our mission.
This marks Zite’s second acquisition this year, and we’re hiring!
