Turn a form submission into a customer record, notify your team when work arrives, or send a daily report. Choose the tool based on what starts the work and where you want to build it.
Zite for schedules and incoming events, Zapier, n8n, and Make for connecting tools

Ways to automate work with your Zite database.

Choose an automation tool

App schedules and webhooks

Ask Zite to run work at a set time or when another tool sends an event.

Zapier

Connect a Zite database to other apps with a trigger and actions.

n8n

Add Zite records and database events to a workflow you build in n8n.

Make

Read and change Zite records from a scenario, or send data between Make and a Zite app.

Start with one business task

An app webhook receives events from another tool, including Make. A database trigger in Zapier or n8n starts with a change in Zite.

Test the whole connection

  1. Use a sample record or submission.
  2. Check the destination table and match each incoming value to the right field.
  3. Run a test, then confirm the record or notification exists.
  4. Publish or enable the automation and check its run history.
If a run fails, inspect the failed step before retrying. Check whether it already created a record so you don’t create a duplicate.

Using another automation tool

Make has no official Zite app. It can connect using its general HTTP or webhook modules in two ways: For a custom connection, share the developer documentation with your developer or Zite partner.
