How it works
Add AI capabilities to your Zite apps using OpenAI. This enables your app to generate content, analyze information, automate decisions, and enrich records in real time. By connecting OpenAI, you can:- Generate content, replies, and recommendations based on user prompts
- Analyze, summarize, and extract insights from reports, documents, and long-form text
- Score and qualify leads using company data or form submissions
- Categorize tickets, classify feedback, detect sentiment, and organize incoming data
- Automatically route tasks, requests, or approvals to the right people or workflows
Using Zite’s OpenAI account/API key in published Zite apps is only available on paid plans. You can still connect your own OpenAI API key if you want usage billed directly through your OpenAI account.
How to integrate OpenAI

Connect to OpenAI
In the chat box, request your app to be integrated with OpenAI or click the 
plug icon .2
Select a version
Choose your preferred version in the dropdown.

Enter use case
Tell Zite how you want to use OpenAI in your app. In our example, we’ll publish a post to the community.

Deploy and share
Use the chat box or the respective buttons in your app to ensure everything’s working properly.
Publish in the upper right corner to share or embed your app.Modify the theme or style specific elements in your app to personalize it or match it with your brand.
