Context
Give the Zite agent background on your business so it can build apps and help with work using your team’s guidelines. Add context to a workspace as a text file, Markdown file, or Google Doc. Context is stored in the workspace’s code repository and is automatically available for the Zite agent to read. This gives the agent a shared reference for the workspace, without you having to repeat the same background in each prompt.What to include
Add information that helps the agent understand how your team works. For example:- Business overviews: What your team or program does and who it serves.
- Policies and guidelines: Rules the agent should follow when building apps or helping with tasks.
- Processes: How you handle requests, approvals, onboarding, or other recurring work.
Add context to a workspace

Open Context
From your workspace home, select the
Context tab below your apps.2
Add your information
Click
Add context, then choose how to add it:- Upload a file: Drag in a text or Markdown file, or click
browseto select one. - Write text: Select
Write textto enter context directly. - Google Doc: Select
Google Driveto connect a document.
Example: manage a partner program
If you use a Zite workspace to manage your partner program, connect a Google Doc that explains how the program works and outlines your partner policies. When you ask the agent to build a partner portal or help with work for the program, it can read that document and use your guidelines to inform its work. For example, you could ask it to build an onboarding flow based on the process described in your partner guide.Integrations
Open theIntegrations tab on your workspace home to connect the tools your team uses and see which integrations are already installed in each app.
You can connect an integration here as well as from inside an app. The workspace view brings those connections together, so you can check which apps use which integrations without opening each app individually.
