Build mode is where Zite makes changes to your app, and asks for approval before certain changes. Auto is the default. Choose Build when you want a checkpoint before the agent creates features, fixes issues, or updates design.

When to use Build mode

  • Add or change features, pages, components, workflows, or integrations, with a checkpoint before certain changes
  • Fix bugs or unexpected behavior
  • Update layout, styling, colors, text, or spacing

Switch to Build mode

Open the mode menu and choose Build, or press Shift + Tab until you reach Build mode.

Describe the change

Include the outcome you want and where the change should happen.

Review the result

Read the Agent’s summary, then test the feature it built. To undo a change, use Version control.
Want to scope first? Switch to Plan mode before building. Auto is the default. If you prefer Build, choose it from the mode menu and Zite will remember it for that workspace.
